Brandon was diagnosed with leukemia after his mother had died from cancer and while his father was ill with cancer.  Imagine the pain he suffered from losing his mother and  knowing his father, who was his best friend, was sick as well.  Brandon was a high school senior at the time and his dream was to go to his senior prom.  As such, Jamie’s Dream Team fulfilled Brandon’s dream, and he was able to attend his senior prom.  Brandon had a wonderful time with his friends, and the continuous smile on his face was priceless!  Brandon’s father passed away shortly thereafter when Brandon was only 19.  Brandon became very ill again and his leukemia was out of remission.  Jamie’s Dream Team had learned that Brandon was a die hard Boston Red Sox fan, and that his lifelong dream was to see the Red Sox play at Fenway Park in Boston.  Jamie’s Dream Team sent Brandon to Boston for a few days where he was able to see 3 Red Sox games, meet some players and hang in the dugout!  Brandon had the time of his life and was able, for that short while, to forget about his illness and just have fun.
